The Black Fawn

The Black Fawn is a personal, relatable story that takes place on the Bennett's Farm. Bud Sloan had just been sent to live on his grandparents' farm, and soon discovered a black fawn in the nearby woods. From that moment on, he transformed from a frightened city-bred orphan to a dedicated farmer. He learned from his Gram and Gramps what it is to love and be loved, and also the meaning of true sportsmanship.
