A Conservative Response to Anti-Semitism

What does God’s Word tell us about Israel and the Jewish people? What is anti-semitism, and what is it like to be Jewish in our current cultural climate? Should we support the state of Israel? How can we listen to the news with discernment?

Jonathon Van Maren

Jonathon Van Maren has worked on campaigns combatting anti-semitism since 2009 and won an award for combatting anti-semitism in print from Hillel and B’nai Brith. Anti-semitism on the Left and the Right has been an area of focus since 2015. He has been published in in the National Post, National Review, First Things, The Federalist, The American Conservative, the Jewish Independent, The Times of Israel, and WORLD magazine, among others. He is a contributing editor to The European Conservative.

Rabbi Elan Mazen

Rabbi Elan Mazer is a Jewish educator, speaker, and communal leader who serves as CEO of Mizrachi Canada, the largest Zionist movement in Canada. For more than a decade, he lectured in theology and Talmud at Yeshivat HaKotel, a leading institution of advanced Jewish learning in Jerusalem’s Old City, and he also served in the IDF. Under his leadership, Mizrachi Canada has expanded its educational reach and humanitarian impact, supporting vital initiatives in Israel, including aid for vulnerable families and communities affected by war. Rabbi Mazer lives in Israel with his family and is passionate about faith, Scripture, Israel, and moral leadership.

Reverend C. Sonnevelt

Rev. C. Sonnevelt became a minister of the gospel 45 years ago and has since served in various countries. With a special love for Israel, he has studied it for decades, previously studied Hebrew and lived in Upper Galilee, and has taught in Messianic Jewish and Arabic congregations. He authored God’s Way with Israel, is well-informed about the current geo-political situation and presents a Biblical vision of the land and future of Israel.
