About
The Bookshop
Stories have storytellers. If we want to know what a story is telling us, we must look at what the storyteller wants to tell us. Storytellers come with their own worldviews, biases, and beliefs. These beliefs come through in the stories they tell, and that is why stories are so important—and why good stories are essential. Stories inspire, captivate, and transmit values—for good, or for bad.
As our culture becomes increasingly anti-Christian, parents and families need bookshops they can trust—places where the stories and storytellers have been carefully chosen. The Bookshop is a family-run, smalltown bookstore with a curated selection of timeless novels, beloved children’s books, and beautiful poetry alongside books on cultural and historical issues.
The Bookshop will also be carrying previously out-of-print children’s stories and classics to ensure that parents can introduce their children to the books they grew up with and pass the literary inheritance of our culture on to the next generation. Parents and families need bookstores they can trust. We hope The Bookshop can be that place for your family!
