Ears from Harvested Sheaves

Ears from Harvested Sheaves is a daily meditation book, based on selected portions from sermons of the late Rev. J.C. Philpot, a Baptist minister in England in the early 1800s. Each day has a text and a short meditation upon a thought raised in the text.

Following the death of their father, J.C. Philpot's daughters selected pieces from his sermons and arranged them so as to be suitable for daily readings. They are deeply spiritual but also touch upon the practical part of the Christian life.
