Canada and The Netherlands: A World War II Story

This book pays tribute to the Canadian soldiers who fought bravely in World War II. It also tells the story of a Dutch princess who was born in Canada, during the war. The Dutch have never forgotten what the Canadians did for them during World War II, and each year a special gift is sent from the Netherlands to Canada. Children in both countries will be inspired by this true tale of courage, self-sacrifice and undying gratitude. This book is bilingual. It is written in both Dutch and English, to commemorate this unique friendship.
